**UPDATE – The Divi Builder plugin is now available as of October 8th 2015**
The Divi Builder PLugin has been in development for a while now with a few Divi Builder sneak peaks given on the Elegant Themes blog in the past. Elegant Themes Nick Roach posted a few day ago with the latest developments of both Divi 2.5 and the Divi builder plugin.
This plugin will allow you to use the Divi Builder with any theme, and it will also make it easy to migrate posts and pages built with any theme powered by the Divi Builder – Nick Roach
The bad news was that the Divi builder plugin will come after Divi 2.5, so you will have to wait a little longer. The good news is that Elegant Themes is doing this for all the right reasons. Framework updates, bug fixes and improving Divi functionality and features to make a rock solid base to launch the Divi Builder Plugin.
You might be asking yourself: Divi 2.5? Wait, I thought The Divi Builder Plugin was next on the production timeline? You’re right, we originally planned to release The Divi Builder Plugin before Divi 2.5. After some thought, we flip-flopped and decided it would better serve everyone if we rolled our framework updates into Divi 2.5 first, while at the same time continuing to focus on the various Divi bug fixes and improvements requested by the community. We want to make Divi absolutely perfect before expanding it into plugin form. – Nick Roach
Divi 2.5 is set to have some very cool new features, such as the ability to right click on modules giving faster access to settings along with newly integrated ones. Locking your modules according to user roles to stop clients destroying your beautifully designed Divi site. And the one I am most looking forward too is the ability to preview a module before having to save it.
So, as ever the team at Elegant Themes are busy constantly improving the hugely popular Divi Theme and associated Elegant Theme products. To keep up to date with all that is going on at Elegant Themes be sure to sign up for the ET blog.
