*** UPDATE ***

The following code is to hide the footer credits using CSS. You can also edit the footer credits using javascript in your ePanel.

How do I remove the Elegant Theme credits in Divi? A much asked question on the various Divi Facebook groups that is usually answered with instructions to create a child theme and edit the code in footer.php. Whilst this is the method I use and a child theme is very useful to have when customising your Divi theme, it is not essential and can be somewhat overkill for people new to web design (and that’s a big chunk of the Divi users). If you want to edit the footer credits then you will need to edit the code in footer.php, but if you are happy to just hide the Elegant Themes credits, then you can just add a single line of CSS into your ePanel.

So, to hide the Elegant Themes credits in your Divi theme you will need to;

1 – In your admin area navigate to your Dashoard > Divi > Theme Options > ePanel

2 – In your ePanel go to General Settings and scroll down to Custom CSS and enter

‪#‎footer‬-info{display: none;}

and save.

3 – Designed by Elegant Themes | Powered by WordPress will no longer be displayed.
